A pair of Qianlong porcelain tureens and covers of c.1760-80 formed as a pair of geese, $120,000 (£88,890) at Christie’s.
The sale included a third tranche of the Tibor collection and among its highlights was this pair of Qianlong porcelain tureens and covers of c.1760-80 formed as a pair of geese.
The naturalistically shaped and decorated tureens, 14½in (37cm) in length, made the top price of the sale when they sold for $120,000 (£88,890).
