Tom Holland reacts with sheer joy as he secures a £3500 Psittacosaurus skeleton at Woolley & Wallis in Salisbury on June 30 – as his dad sitting next to him tries not to be too embarrassed, perhaps.
As the only bidder he was able to secure it under estimate at £3500.
On his own Twitter account he calmly covered the process in two separate posts. The first read: “I attend my first ever auction”, and the second: “I buy a dinosaur.” Commenting later on the excited reaction to fulfilling his childhood dream of owning a dinosaur, he added: “My father, sitting next to me, had seen it all before.”
Woolley & Wallis concluded: “This is how we’d like all our buyers to react from now on.”
