The society, whose emblem is a profile image of diarist Samuel Pepys, no mean ephemerist himself whose collection embraced trade cards, ballads and board games, holds two annual fairs in London. The first this year is on Sunday, June 23, at the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, WC1.

Robertson has assembled 30 exhibitors for this event including Colin Coleman with musical engravings and playbills, Barbara Loe of the Ephemera Society of America and Valerie Jackson-Harris, past chair of the society, dealing as Quadrille.

New to the fair is vintage advertising guru Robert Opie who will man a stand promoting his Museum of Brands in Notting Hill, London.
